Tess Daly is in Hollywood, according to The Sun, hoping to turn her debut novel, The Camera Never Lies, into a film.

And, Alesha Dixon In Shock Return To BBC Because Obviously, Presenters and Actors Can't Do Different Programmes On Different Channels At The Same Time Because That Would Be Weird, Like Freelance Writers Writing For Different Publications Or Something. Oh.

Tess Daly Fiction Novel!

Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly has had her novel The Camera Never Lies picked up by Coronet. If you're of a certain age, you might be thinking it's some kind of homage to Bucks Fizz, but thankfully, no. It's a fictionalised account of a model turned TV presenter and the warts and all story of behind the scenes in TV. Editor Charlotte Haydock reckons: "Her incredibly funny novel has a larger than life cast of characters, bags of style and plenty of love and heartbreak too." Which is great, unless you're Amanda Roberts, who published Strictly Shimmer not so long ago ... I'm sure there's room for both.

Strictly It Takes Two: Twelve Sugars Later

Tonight ... Brendelle, Dr. Peter, Tess. But first, top scoring boys, Matt (Crumbs, what a dancer) and Gavin (Tan-fastic) are in boot camp with partners Aliona (More hero than Vilani) and Katya (The Kat's whiskers) there's a lot of bum slaps, but you can't blame Katya and Aliona for taking advantage, can you ;) Matt has an amazing foxtrot frame; Gav's a bit tangled in the salsa armography.

Dr. Peter Lovatt - is he related to Chris Evans? Dancing and psychology = Dance Psychology Lab. Fascinating. Says Jamela have a fantastic dance relationship, compatible - salsa looks amazing; Paulla have a nurturing relationship, constantly reassuring; Goldina looking much better; Artara, intense and matching each other; Scattalie, synchronised, acting the character.

Behind the scenes with the men behind the scenery, Patrick and Mark. That's a lot of plans, implemented by 35 men in just 4 days! #awesome!

Tess (Ready to Tess-tify) on the sofa - what will we call her new area? Tess' Turret? Mount Tess? Loving that they can see the audience, feels more vibrant. Real camaraderie, big personalities, can't keep them quiet. Matt surprised her, Jimi is loving it, look at that cha cha face! Clauds and Tess are going out to play on Sunday; Clauds reckons she's dressing as a man!

Michelle (Independent woman) and Brendan (Filling Beyonce's shoes) do not wish to hear the criticism again, thanks. All becomes clear as to why she's so out there - 12 sugars in her coffee *Yikes* Brendan has weaned her off!

OK Magazine and The Variety Club have opened polling for best entertainment show, you have to choose again between Rhythm of Life favourites, Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice, X-Factor and Britain's Got Talent!

Victoria Cross hero, Johnson Beharry, has been linked with Dancing on Ice - I wonder, will Jason dare to criticize in that charming manner of his?!

Apparently, Strictly Come Dancing have now axed Karen Hardy! And I have to agree, if it's true, then she would have been the sensible replacement for Arlene, but hey ho. But word is that Karen's been on the point of retiring for the last couple of series so maybe it's her decision, maybe it's not - apparently she'll still be involved in some capacity and if that's the case, she's hardly going to go running to the media, is she? So the same old articles regarding Arlene and ageism/sexism have been trotted out again. *Yawns* Oh, and the article somewhere that said fans were beseiging the Strictly message board? Be a bit difficult, since it isn't actually open yet! Unless it's just my computer in which case I'm being discriminated against and it's not fair and I bet it's because I'm a woman over ... er, slightly older than Karen ... but not as old as Arlene ...

On a more important note, Tess is excited about her wardrobe and can't wait for little Amber to meet Uncle Brucie, awww. And the BBC Comedy Room are quite happy to take the mickey out of their employers with a spot of Strictly Come Tribal Dancing!

Kristina, Craig, Tess, Rumours

A wonderful chance on offer via The Macmillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning - the chance to Cha Cha with none other than the gorgeous Kristina Rihanoff! You might prefer the trip to Emmerdale, I'm guessing not!

Tess Daly has a book due out, entitled The Baby Diaries and will be giving advice on what to wear, to eat and most importantly, how to get the little sweethearts to sleep - that'll be a well-thumbed chapter no doubt!

Craig Revel Horwood (Boo, hiss etc) is directing the musical Spend Spend Spend, about that dozy tart Viv Nicholson, who won a million quid and spent it all instead of investing sensibly and living comfortably for the rest of her life, whilst being able to afford any treat she wanted. I'm intrigued as to how they've got a musical out of it *shrugs* still, Craig is a fantastic choreographer, so you never know, it might be worth a tickle.

Here we go - first uncomfirmed rumours coming in - Reece Dinsdale is doing Strictly this year, so apparently are Richard and Judy. I'm hoping the lovely Fern Britton will go for it - she showed her credentials in the Comic Relief and she's free now, so no excuses!

And I wasn't going to comment further on the whole Arlene/Alesha business, but I've got say: BOG OFF Harriet Harman - haven't you got anything more important to be thinking about?
