True Dynamix impressed the organisers of the World Streetdance Championships enough to be invited to perform at the championships next week! Well done!

Twist and Pulse, Paul Burling and Stavros Flatley are headlining the For One Night Only show in Torbay.

Don't Stop Believing: The Final!

A lively yet musical start with Crazy in Love and Just Dance, they kept to the musical arrangements of both and all looked and sounded good!

First out, last week's wild card choices, Swish, with the stunningly voiced Anthony and Bieberesque Jake. Here we go ... wow - fantastic start to the show, proving the judges made a great decision last week, even if I disagreed! A jazzy, charleston flavoured version of Locomotion and a full of energy Shout - and, proving that Anthony is not alone - well supported by other, excellent, vocalists. Duncan said all the girls did their bit - I agree, they were all fab; Anastacia said they were awesome; Tamsin said they showed substance and depth as a group; Chucky said they'll be hard to get out of his head when he returns to the States.

Songtimers next and they've gone for a slowie, Empire State of Mind. I like what they've tried to do to bring more emotion into it - but it was the jazz hands that got you through before, guys; Vocally it just wasn't strong enough, even if the performance overall was pleasing. Chucky said they proved they can pull of depth and feeling, could've been cleaner; Tamsin said it wasn't the most dynamic but vast improvement; Anastacia wasn't crazy about the pitchy and sharp vocals; Duncan said they captured the essence of Chicago.

Singer Station will be interesting, because I'm a hard hearted biatch and I want to hear people in tune - individually not good on Starmaker, collectively better. Sweet. Although the balloons out of the suitcase might just tip me over the edge. The judges have made the rudimentary error of telling them they won't win (Tamsin) it didn't move Chucky like before; Duncan advices that whilst not the strongest act, they have confidence and personality; Anastacia tells them not to take the criticism the wrong way.

True Dynamix are once again, very dynamic, beginning with Please Don't Stop The Music and a very slick move into Everybody Dance Now - hi energy in a good way, vocally at the start it could have been stronger but a strong finish. Anastacia called them a bundle of energy; Chucky was proved wrong in thinking they wouldn't do that well; Tamsin called them slick, professional and said they know how to work it; Duncan said they're the strongest dancers in the competition.

Three Spires hit by troubles but lead vocalist Sammy makes it for One Night Only. I'm not that keen, nothing spectacular in the choreography, the arrangement not that special. I'm a bit disappointed, I was expecting more. Anastacia was surprised at the song choice; Tamsin said they relied on Sammy too much, - with her off form, they should have shared out the vocals; Chucky said Sammy was rock star ready but no-one else; Duncan agreed.

Dale Diva to finish off and they're doing the Streisand/Summer No More Tears. There are so many of them it sounds impressive, although I fancy I hear some a bit weaker. There's a STOP! and a line from Hot Stuff. Fun, but not for me. Duncan called them Divalicious; Anastacia said they put the capital D in Diva; they made Tamsin smile; Chucky was pleased they had the same energy as before.

Personally, it's Swish all the way for me.

Probably my favourite performance by the supergroup, with September and Sway, more harmonious and some terrific dancing from most of them. The lines are frozen, top two will sing again after another break. Yes, another one. Happily, it gives me a chance to check on the roast.

The two top acts to sing again are: Swish. Yay! Dale Diva also through. Open those phone lines again, why don't you? Thanks!

So it's back to the original performances ... and who's it gonna be? I've a feeling the Divas will take it but maybe the public will prove me wrong? Who would the judges go for? Chucky and Tamsin - Swish; Duncan happy with either, so is Anastacia. Oh, we're going for some highlights of the series. Dice, Power Play, Original Talent, MT4uth - hope they carry on.

And here we go: Iiiiiiiiiiit's ... Dale Diva! Congratulations!

Which, ok, their leading lady was big on personality and made them a lot of friends, and they were entertaining in a nice way. But for a show based on Glee and the whole show choir thing, it would have been nice for an all singing, all dancing show choir to have won, as opposed to just a choir. I'm just sayin' cos I feel a little cheated ... but hey, the prize is a recording contract so - maybe they'll re-think it a bit for next year?

Don't Stop Believing: Week Five and The Wild Cards

Six new groups compete for the final place and will be joined by one of the five wild cards - big decision for the judges later!

I liked the mash-up of the tracks to open - but I've learned not to judge the acts by it!

Elements first - and it's a fairly predictable accountants Nine to Five routine, tempered by Walk This Way. Collectively quite nice, but the lead vocal not special. Tamsin says it had humour, choreography could be sharper; Anastacia is part of the office, harmonies nice but lead shaky; Duncan I missed because I was interrupted by a child - think he liked overall; Chucky says it was fun to watch.

Cherish have never prformed in public before ... but you wouldn't know it, lots of energy, they had a blast, vocals not the strongest, attitude, great acting skills, they went for it, well done! Not as polished as others understandably. Tamsin says they did well but not the strongest vocally, fun, expressive, faces told a story; Anastacia didn't want to be negative, tells them to enjoy what they do; Duncan told them to use the experience and learn from it; Chucky said the choreography told a story.

Toneacity are the opposite of Cherish, all trained performers. Vocally much stronger, seasoned pros but ... lacking the fun! Too slick for me, with a song that didn't grab me. They hit the tone for Anastacia, she said it was an amazing blend, wonderful; Duncan respects them keeping going; Chucky said it was well executed, very precise but it didn't grab him either; Tamsin agrees some of the best vocals but found it a bit cruise ship - in a good way!

TCC next, making the most of their Welshness with some pretty harmonizing in Every Breath You Take but the boys have an 80s Miami Vice thing going on with costume, there isn't much in the way of choreography - safe is the word I was looking for, thanks Duncan, who said it was well done but safe; Anastacia was confused but said it was a great performance; Chucky was doing a Bruno, up in his seat telling them to make him clap! They didn't get to Tamsin.

Funky Little Choir worked hard, bless, with Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, bit disjointed, not vocally strong (they're not used to dancing) flat in places, a good try but sorry guys. Anastacia agreed it's hard to sing George Michael; Chucky says a good job, don't be afraid to up the crazy factor; Tamsin tells them to be proud, they had fun; Duncan gave respect to Sam with Cerebral Palsy.

TrueDynamix were. Dynamic, I mean - loved the vocals, all strong, choreography was sassily performed and full of attitude and energy - what is it with Vogue that brings out the best in boys dancing? Had to write when they finished because I didn't want to miss anything! Anastacia cared for IT - insane vocals; Chucky loved the hairography, by fair the best tonight; Tamsin and Duncan agree and urge us to vote for them.

I'd like to see TrueDynamix through - not so fussed about the others. And who knows how the public vote will go, judging by it so far! Sarah Harding appears to be joining the supergroup, what's all that about? They're doing a tango! Very stylised but for me this supergroup has never really hit top speed, vocally it's just not that exciting and I found that as steamy as a closed up sauna.

Here we go: Singing again to impress the judges are ... Cherish - I thought that might happen! And Funky Little Choir! Straight through then - TrueDynamix! Crikey, they're loud ...

Cherish rocked it out, better than the first time, vocally stronger there! Unlike Funky Little Choir - I did actually cringe - but who knows where the judges are at? Chucky - Cherish; Anastacia - Cherish; Tamsin - Cherish *Phew* Well done girls! Duncan also would have gone for Cherish.

The wild cards are back now: Dice do it again - stunning delivery in every area - vocals, dancing, energy; Swish with the angel voiced lead singer Anthony, can they keep the choreography tight? Lots of energy but collectively not as strong in both areas; MT4Uth and their strong, vocally and visually, dramatic Feelin' Good - different could nick it - how is this the wild card section - this feels like be the final! Singlive do what they do very well, but for me it's a straight fight. Cherish have been already of course - who will the judges put through? It's ...... they're split between two or three ...oooh er, there's dissent in the judges .... it's ... Swish? Ok, but apart from Anthony, really, Dice and MT4Uth must be pretty gutted. So much for the all singing, all dancing group - Dice really had the lot out of every one I've seen. Some decidedly not strong enough acts in the final. Roll on the final week!

Don't Stop Believing, Week Four

Shine, the best group opening to the show so far - all strong vocally and quality of movement, musical and smooth.

Out first, The Songtimers sing Michael Jackson and vocally it's excellent, it's a well put together tight and entertaining routine. Well done. Tamsin calls it passionate, energetic, fantastic; Chucky felt the electricity and energy but not the soul; Duncan says the vocals were brilliant and precise; Anastacia thought the pairing beautiful.

Fusion Theatre show how to do uptempo and still keep to the tune, with Walking on Sunshine. It's bright and fun, energetic and cheerful but some of the vocals aren't as strong as you'd have hoped. Duncan liked that so many had individual spots; Anastacia says they're not vocally mature yet but will get there; Chucky liked the hi-energy, says they have a likeability factor, need to interact more; Tamsin enjoyed it, told them to embrace their moment.

Power Play totally lived up to their name, performing Bat Out of Hell with drama and passion - loved the choreography and lead vocal Simon is superb. Stunning - and I'm not a rock music fan. Anastacia cared for it, Simon's voice, energy and command of the divas; Tamsin said he's made for the West End, dramatic, best so far; Chucky: So Rock Star Ready! I've been waiting for that; Duncan felt the power, definitely strongest so far.

Sorority re-produce Kylie's showgirl vibe and it's feisty and sassy with lots of attitude, loved the harmonizing. Anastacia loved the Kylie mash up, thought the harmonies really nice; Duncan called them poor man's Las Vegas showgirls! *Oooh, handbags* Tamsin doesn't know what he was watching or hearing, she loved the whole concept; Chucky not so keen.

Musicality do justice energy wise to Plan B's Begging, it's the opposite of cheesy, cool but not too cool! Overall, very good, not so sure about a couple of the vocalists, liked the whole feel of it. This is another tough night - week two was ridiculously weak compared to weeks 3 and 4. Chucky like the well rehearsed choreography and sharp energy; Tamsin said the level of acting drew her in, slick, classy; Anastacia thought Laura's voice very nice, strong unity; Duncan called it believable, passionate and committed.

MT4Uth with an extremely original interpretation of Feelin' Good - they're in straightjackets, almost! Brave, tidy, theatrical - I loved it. Chucky felt the personality, story and theatrics, more than just a song; Tamsin called it performance art; Anastacia said it was full, fabulous, creepy and great; Duncan liked that they took a chance on weird and wonderful.

Well now, the last two weeks have really picked up - this show was much more what I was expecting - not a bad performance out there tonight, a real toughie. I think overall I'd like to see Power Play and MT4Uth make it through. But again, I won't be be hugely disappointed with any of the others.

Another five in the supergroup, with a power ballad mash up this week. There's a lot of individuals though, obviously, so the harmonies aren't always that good. Some of the dancing is a bit dire too.

Here we go, who's singing again? It's ...MT4Uth and Fusion Theatre. Straight through is - Songtimers!

Chucky admits to being perplexed by the results! MT4Uth out first and again so visual, so musical. Fusion Theatre try to pinch it but it's not going too happen, the individual vocals are weak.

Anastacia chooses MT4Uth; Duncan goes with Fusion?? Tamsin sticks with brave, creative MT4Uth - Chucky makes the decision - it's MT4Uth.

Snippets: Strictly Come Dancing, Glee, Don't Stop Believing, Step Up 3D,

New Strictly Come Dancing Pro, Robin Windsor fancies Alesha - more importantly, he has some words of support for her.

According to William Hill, Jessica Ennis and Rebecca Adlington have expressed an interest in Strictly - but after seeing what happened to Jade, I doubt we'll see them before they've retired.

Zandra Rhodes will do Strictly - but not just yet! Wardrobe must be rubbing their hands with glee!

Talking of Glee, Matthew Morrison is apparently going to shave his lovely curly locks (if you're a fan) or "Your hair looks so much like a briar patch that I’m expecting racist, animated Disney characters to pop out and start singing songs about the bayou"(if you're Sue Sylvester!) although a casting call has gone out for a double to do it on camera - having said that, it's been shorn in that accompanying picture.

Step Up 3D has premiered - these are some of the cast having fun on the red carpet, and here's a review.

Don't Stop Believing has lost viewers since it began - the age old issue I'm afraid - billing something as the search for the 'best' and then allowing sentimentality into it, plus introducing the judges as the stars instead of the competitors. Dale Diva are making the most of it though. Behind the scenes with Anastacia.

Don't Stop Believing, Week Three

Proud Mary is the song of choice for the intro, mashing into Ain't No Mountain High Enough and it all began with some lovely harmonies before descending into the high energy shouting job again. *rolls eyes*

First out, Swish and what a beautiful voice Anthony has, singing Angels in musical theatre style, please don't let them - oh, here we go, up a notch for Let Me Entertain You, and though I'm annoyed to not be listening to Anthony still - the rest of the vocalists nowhere near his standard - it is actually entertaining! Well done. Duncan was entertained and loved the contrast; Anastacia cared for it; Tamsin said it was the best opening to a show; Chucky says Jake took over, nailed the pirouettes.

Jacobs Street includes mum and dad, and it's a slower beat thankfully and although probably the cheesiest act I've seen so far, it's quite sweet! Nice set, loved the drummer boys and the whole audience clapping along! Chucky and Anastacia loved what they stood for, but not the performance; Duncan says they did well with what they had; Tamsin also loved the family aspect. But they didn't really like it, too Brady Bunch!

The Bridgwater Show Choir started very brightly, singing Fascination - but the vocals went when they split into boys and girls, pretty disappointing as it seemed they were going to really hit it. Tamsin was unaffected; Duncan said it was slick, professional and too well rehearsed; Chucky repeated 'too well rehearsed' in a 'too well rehearsed???' kind of way and praised their partnering; Anastacia too, felt some of the vocals were off.

Love Soul Choir - oh, listen to them - please let them sing, please let them sing ... please ... Shackles and there's energy without going ballistic - at last, a whole song actually sung, collectively very strong. Anastacia gives a standation and says they've saved her, vocal beauty; Tamsin says a beautiful mix of voices, rich; the dancing didn't blow Chucky away but he thought they gave it 100%; Duncan says vocally the best, absolutely brilliant.

Original Talent with a terrific mash up of Crazy (Gnarls Barclay) and Billie Jean, I loved the opening, strong vocal, very visual, brilliant mixing in with a beat box and breakdancer - just thought the vocal dipped a bit at one time, but other than that, excellent. I actually agreed with the judges on this one! Chucky says they brought everything to the table; Anastacia thought it well balanced; Duncan says it was a great mix; Tamsin loved it and wants to see it again!

Dale Diva sing my most hated song of all time, badly - she's nervous - The Power of Love - it's not their fault - thank God, they've gone into Single Ladies ... and everyone's whooping along, great effort, good movement, terrific vocal and energy. Duncan says it was brilliant, an entertaining performance; Chucky says Beyonce should hire them; Anastacia says they should be proud, sounded like one instrument; Tamsin called them all the funky ladies and says that that is a show choir!

A one hundred percent improvement on last week's show - this is a toughie - none of them perfect but all entertaining and able to actually sing it out. Could be anyone from four -don't think Jacobs Creek, sorry, Street - *puts the glass down* or Bridgwater will take it.

The Supergroup mash up Don't Rain On My Parade and Umbrella, some good vocals, some not so hot ... yes, Duncan would like to hear the vocals too, so wants a power ballad next week and Anastacia wants more men up there. Sounds like a good plan to me.

The phone lines are closed! Second and third are: Swish; Original Talent - ooh, now that is a toughie, similar acts both enjoyed by the judges. Straight through go: Dale Diva!

Swish could nick it because of their individual vocalists, but I felt for overall performance it should be Original Talent - it's two each (Duncan and Anastacia for Swish; Chucky and Tamsin for Original Talent) - back to the public vote - it's Swish! Well done to them but a real shame for the Essex group - I hope Original Talent don't give up - tighten up the vocals a bit and go for Britain's Got Talent guys!

Don't Stop Believing, Week Two

Introducing Three Spires, Roulette, Blok, The Redroofians, Dawson's Academy and Singlive to Like A Prayer/Living on a Prayer. They seem a lively lot.

First up, Dawson's Academy, a performing arts school, been doing it for years, doing a mash up of Michael Jackson/Take That with Kim Gavin, TT's choreographer. Only there wasn't so much of Back for Good and I don't think it acutally worked that well, not all the vocals were strong either BUT - overall, a bloomin' good effort, enjoyable and a great theme. Chucky says Michael would've been flattered; Tamsin loved the concept; Anastacia tells them to take in more oxygen, overall a god job; Duncan says he didn't hear a bum note. But then, he was in Blue.

Nathan Clarke creating for Roulette, with a mash up of Take on Me/Starry Eyed. I was a bit concerned that we had another bad 80's video unfolding but it definitely improved with Starry Eyed coming in, which blended really well, with an interesting arrangement for the Take on Me vocals. I didn't care for the electro theme, too fast. Anastacia says they're not at the top of the vocal category, very interesting Bjorky sound; Chucky says they didn't quite own their individual moments; Duncan says visually strong, the concept of the pods worked well; Tamsin says it was creatively beautiful.

SingLive next and they're more in unison than the big group last week, mostly in time and a wall of sound to Queen's Radio Gaga and One Vision. Chucky said they executed it well; Anastacia says a splendid job; Tamsin loved Chris' voice, a massive smile on her face; Duncan said simple and effective.

The Redroofians sing and dance to Teenage Dreams and they're doing it for Rosie's charity. Kim Gavin directs and they sound great together at first but not so good invidually, lost some of the energy. Bright and cheery and they're very excited. Tamsin says the energy and enthusiasm made the performance outstanding; Chucky says they made the stage they're playground, awesome; Anastacia loved the energy; Duncan liked the inter-actions.

Blok we've seen before, but I can't remember which of the other shows it was! Nathan Clarke directs them in a Girls Aloud number - what is it with all the high octane stuff tonight? Phew, well I'm exhausted. Probably my fave so far, slick, tight - good move to have the non-dancing singers just singing while the dancers got on with it. Duncan says it's a hot performance; Chucky more excited than watching the Laker's cheerleaders; Tamsin says they're the best vocals so far; Anastacia didn't like that there seemed to be two separate groups.

Three Spires named after the Coventry skyline and it's another sob story - which they really did not need, as Sam is by far the strongest vocalist tonight. I loved the beginning of this and was thinking this could be a wow moment that blows me away when ... high octane, screw up the vocals time again! Choreogrpahers tonight - get yourselves out of the bloomin' eighties big hair hi-energy mode for crying out loud - that could have been so much better. Great theatrical presence ruined by going karaoke again. Anastacia cared for all of it; Chucky says it was rock star ready; Tamsin says complete theatrics; Duncan says they came together as a show choir.

Ok, they all worked hard - but I think the professionals let them all down quite frankly, that could and should have been a much stronger show. I haven't voted, I'm disappointed.

The Supergroup do Boys and Girls and invidually on the VT they're fab, but again, I think it's the arrangements letting them all down - too scrappy, too busy - less is more, Duncan said it earlier - simpler is sometimes more effective.

Votes are in, second and third are: Blok; Singlive. Straight through to the final are: Three Spires. What a surprise. Bloody hell Emma, that was longer than Brucie makes us wait.

Well, I think Blok were pretty together but Singlive impressed the judges earlier and from their comments there I think they'll take this. I'm still trying to figure out why the sailor suits. Decision time: Chucky - Singlive; Anastacia - Singlive; Duncan - Singlive. Tamsin would have gone for Blok. Ah, well. There's always next week.

Don't Stop Believing, Week One

And we're live, from wherever it's being filmed! Here we go! Thirty acts, broken down into groups of six.

Your judges are Anastacia, Duncan James, Tamzin Outhwaite and Chucky Clapow. Emma Bunton tells us what's'appenin'. The public winner of each show is guaranteed a place in the final, next two face the judges.

Introducing, to I Gotta Feeling, it's Manchester Show Choir, The Classix, Singer Station, Dice, Step Up, Eschoir. And this is now a proper mash-up, as they mix in Don't Stop Believing!

First out - Dice! Nice lot of gentle ribbing in the VT, they clearly get on well but there could be stretchers? *eek* Nathan Clarke choreographs Do Your Thing and VoulezVous mash and it's a WOW - now that I was not expecting! They were fab, full of energy, the level didn't drop. A great opening to the show, well done! Chucky says it was executed with a degree of professionalism he was not expecting; Duncan says their energy to open the show was fantastic; Anastacia says the vocals were spot on, very good; Tamzin says the performance was amazing and slick.

The Classix, musical theatre singers and I'm loving the description given by Fatty - his words! Steve Sidwell the musical director, for a new spin on Video Killed The Radio Star. Hm. Pop songs don't show off musical theatre vocals, I never liked that song and how it is a new spin, since that seems to be just like the original, even down to the dodgy glasses? Dated, did nothing for me, I'm afraid. Chucky says it was very clean, precise, rehearsed, stepped up in originality *eh*?; Anastacia is very into Classix, tremendous blend and poise; they blew Duncan away and Tamzin says it's an experience to watch them. Yeah, a De Ja Vu experience ...

Step Up step out next, they're a group with a message, giving it back to the community. Nathan Clarke overseeing for Signed Sealed Delivered mashed with Think. I think all three lead vocals lost their way in parts, it was all very bright but not a lot going on - I'm a little disappointed, thought it would be a lot more urban and raw than it was. Duncan says Stevie would be proud of them; Anastacia says there were great, independent vocals; Chucky, now Chucky, he agreed with me - tells them they could dance bigger, not to settle for what they did there; Tamzin says she'd like to be a part of that group.

Manchester Show Choir and Daniel, founder and creative director has to sit this one out while Kim Gavin creates to Bad Romance and Poker Face. Great theatrical look and feel to it but it seems busy without the high energy levels required for Lady Ga Ga stuff. Some strong vocals, some weak, some pretty dreadful towards the end. Chucky says they needed to keep up with the electricity of the songs; Duncan says they were some smaller groups within the big group; Anastacia would like to have heard more harmonies and intricacies within the vocals; Tamzin says it needed more vocal variety.

Singer Station, musical performance group sing True Colours from the heart, it's very touching but not vocally strong enough and isn't a big enough performance I fear. Tamzin agrees it's an emotional performance; Chucky says it was the perfect choice for them.

Eschoir and lots of fun banter, seem like a lively lot. Ooh, grit and raunch we like! They've gone for Sex on Fire, strong vocally, lots of testosterone but they can't do that every week - will have to show some versatility if they make it through. Anastacia says there was plenty of sex but was distracted by the girl, although it was well executed; Chucky said the power of the peice was the less is more approach, smart; Duncan said it was a rich, deep vocal but reminded him of Thriller ... in a bad way.

We begin to meet the Supergroup and there's a medley mash up with Don't Stop Believing and Alicia Keys' No-one and U2 in there but then I lost the plot - I know they're the Supergroup, I found it bitty - thought the curly haired blonde bloke very strong though! If you're sitting at home singing along - they're auditioning in Portsmouth on Monday and Tuesday - you could be there next week!

The lines are closed - I can't see Dice not getting the win tonight, no idea on which two will fight it out for the judges though. The results are in, ooh, second and third first ...er ... Dice! What? You are kidding me? Joining them - Manchester Show Choir. So who got the win then? Singer Station! Well, the public do love a bit of a sob story, don't they. But really, my flabber is well and truly gasted. If the judges don't put Dice through, I'll, well, I'll just get on with it, but really ...

Dice faultless again - let's see what MSC can do - they can't better that, surely? Oh, don't drag it out Emma, the judges clearly don't want to say they don't stand a chance and they've already made up their minds. They tried, stepped it up a bit but still out of sync. Over to the judges: Chucky - Dice; Tamzin - Dice; Duncan - Dice; Anastacia - oh, we're not going to ask, even if it is academic, because majority rules. So Dice have to come back and compete against the other runners up for the final place in the final!

And I'm thinking already, are we going to be stuck with sympathy votes winning out over truly talented acts? Which will be a real shame - Dice were the only act close to fitting the Glee show choir scenario and that's the inspiration behind the show.

Snippets: Strictly Come Dancing, Don't Stop Believing

BBC bosses are dispensing with a set fee for each contestant this year. Instead, the celebrities will be on a performance related pay contract - how much they receive will be determined by how long they star in the show! A good move, I think - an incentive to do their best and not mess around, plus the licence fee payers pay more to who they vote for.

So the rumours are almost confirmed ;) Ann Widdecombe, Patsy Kensit and Gavin Henson are apparently signed for Strictly Come Dancing, with Felicity Kendal also said to be appearing - and, I heard elsewhere, Charlotte Church! Maybe it will bring her and Gavin back together, who knows? But the BBC has yet to confirm any of this, obviously!

Derek Hough will be making a guest appearance at some point, although Bruce is not going to front the results show, which will again be aired on the Sunday evening.
