Tonight ... Jimavia (it came to my attention I actually changed their team name on Saturday; I've gone back to my original!) Peterin, the new boys.
Foxtrot training: Felicent have a problem with left and right; Jarina have a language barrier; Brendelle all floaty and getting there; Artara showing the required graft; Mattiona looking good; Paulla working hard; Goldina could definitely surprise; Jimavia? Hm, not so sure but they're on the sofa. Jimi (Magical Mistry Tour) talks things over with himself, Flavia (Mistry's Girl) agrees! She says that cha cha was the best first performance for her in five series! Chanks! All you need to learn to dance in a can. Available in salsa, cha cha chicken and fiery foxtrot - which is looking better now!
The Sequin Team, live, from Russia, Hawaii ... and Ipswich! Artem (Russian Revolution) loves the paso, Clauds agrees re the hat; Jared (The way to a Murillo *salutes caption guy*) was a ski racer and is having a blast; Robin (new in the Strictly hood) has no hobbies :( and had to be pulled off the ceiling after receiving the Strictly call! Robin and Artem are sharing an unfurnished flat - and neither could be in to sign for the sofa! Patsy is coming out with attitude this week, is on fire; Tina worries too much about the competition and we've no idea how Kara is, because Clauds is infatuated with Artem's chest. Which we don't mind, if we're honest.
Salsa training: Jamela are looking fantastic; Robsy also much happier and relaxed; Widdyton could be the stuff of legend, there is armography! Ann: "No agonising; I came here to dance!" Gavya, she's going for sexy, he may have to fake it- although, hell-oo, shimmy! Scattalie concerned about friends expectations, could be hot, could be not; Peterin is going to give it plenty. And they're on the sofa. Peter (The gloves are off) loves the whole experience, all you can do is your best. Very positive. A Christmas toy will (not) be on sale: Action Dance Man, with gripping hands - Erin (A Boags Life): "Pull your arms up, you're squeezing me to death!" -Eagle Eyes, Talking, Rotating Limbs for all your favourite dance moves!

Snippets: SCD, SYTYCD, GTD
A taster of what's in store on the Strictly Come Dancing tour - I'm thrilled there's a group Charleston number, they look fab!
JLS are confirmed for So You Think You Can Dance, performing their new song One Shot ... Anton and Erin's Steppin' Out show review ... excellent article 'Born to Dance' by Davina Morris in The Voice.
In Got To Dance, judges Ashley, Kimberley and Adam have whittled 98 acts down to just 18, for the three live semi finals, the first of which is January 24th. Two acts will be voted through by the public to the grand final.

News in Brief: There's a lot ...
Diversity are hitting the tour trail, with a show built around routines where toys come to life! I cannot wait - but I'll have to, because it doesn't start till March! And I'm liking the sound of the X-Factor meets Britain's Got Talent Show (scroll right to the end!) on the Isle of Man - with George Sampson and Signature joining Diversity! (And - Stavros Flatley!) The London and Essex group are also joined by George and fellow streetdancers Flawless in a 3D film called - wait for it - Streetdance! But there's ballet dancers in it too! 2010 looking good!
Camilla has left the jungle - the reigning Strictly champion was unsurprisingly left exhausted due to the lack of food on offer, having a higher metabolism than any of her camp mates. Knowing that the food dwindles even further as the show goes on, it's a sensible decicion - nice to have you home safe and well, Cam.
Strictly itself will be reverting to a two part show on a Saturday night for the final three weeks, to allow the public more voting time, and not, as no doubt our red top friends will suggest, because they're scared of X-Factor and/or viewers and/or Arlene and/or the BBC Trust have complained and/or it's all falling to pieces cos Brucie was ill blah blah blah blah ...
Here's a nice in-depth article with Ricky and Erin and a review of Alesha's own live show.
In Dancing With The Stars news, Kym and Maksim will be joining Burn The Floor next week and former contestant Melissa Rycroft joined the Professionals for the Bee Gees You Should Be Dancing performance.
Trav's thoughts are in for this weeks So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars- you need to scroll down to the fourth post and then work back up to read them all in chronological order - or you could flit about like I do, reading bit and watching the vids! The main most important thing you need to know is ... oh, no, I won't spoil it for you!

One word: Path-et-ic
So according to this report, both Sharon Osbourne and Richard Madeley are quitting Strictly Come Dancing because of the pay cut. Actually, I've another couple of words: Bye *waves* no-one wants you anyway. According to the message boards I've read, Sharon and Richard are two of the most unpopular possible contenders ever - so BBC, save your money and give us someone we might actually like.
Also in the report it calls Arlene 'popular' - like I've said before - do these people actually watch the shows/read the message boards/have short memories?
Anyway, Sharon, if you feel you're not being valued, bugger off back to America's Got Talent (not BGT - see I noticed my deliberate mistake) and leave Strictly well alone. As for you Richard - got anything else planned for the rest of the year, have you? When's your next TV appearance? When was your last TV appearance, come to that?
I think I like the sound of Jay Hunt - no nonsense and telling the overpaid, full of themselves celebs that, actually, they're answerable to us when it comes to Auntie Beeb. I think she's realised that Strictly is the sum of its parts and its audience don't care who the individual components are. The only issue concerning me is that the pro dancers get a decent pay packet - they are the ones who work the hardest, without a doubt, and are worth every penny. Having said that, without the show they wouldn't earn as much the rest of the year, so I can't see any of them quitting over money either.
Someone we may like is Natalie Cassidy , for example! Fits the bill as an ex-Eastender but comes across as pretty normal and someone who could enjoy taking part without any hystrionics unlike someone else we know!
Anton and Erin are appearing at a charity ball for the Grace House Hospice Appeal, so if you're in the area, don't be shy - buy a ticket and have a great time supporting a worthy cause.
